Gulf Oil Spill : HAFPU NEWS

On April 20 of 2010 as the majority of this great nation knows, BP Oil Rig in The Gulf of Mexico nearest the Louisiana border suffered a explosion in one of its oil tubes 5000 ft below sea level (est. 1 mile). Over the past two months we have either watched the news or heard on the radio about each effort to stop the oil leak has failed. Most of us can only sit back and watch as oil keeps pouring into the Gulf. destroying more than just the environment and the ocean but killing animals and ocean life, as well as, taking and ending the careers of some of the worlds finest fishermen and sportsmen. We at HAFPU have put our heads together and came up with an idea that would help these good people out. At the new HAFPU store you can now purchase the, "Saving Our Shores", shirt. Some of the money raised from those shirts will go to the people and the states that are being affected by this oil spill.


As all of us know, this is the worst natural disaster we have ever had. We can't just sit back and let this keep happening while these people in office do nothing but talk. Right now, the great privilege of Deep Sea fishing in the Gulf is done for a long time because of what happened. Besides the hunting and fishing will be gone the jobs of many will be gone as well. It is going to take years to clean up BP's mess and kill the Southern East part of this countries economy. I have been keeping up on the BP Oil Spill and have saved some pictures as well as links to what has been going on with it to as well as watching them work on the h***. I will post all the info. as well as pics down below. Again, as sportsmen and as Americans we got to help our brothers and sisters down in the south out. If we as a country all stand up and make a noise, you know somebody's going to hear it. To all of you all who are affected by this disaster.
